A Brief History of CREM. The story will be on a video soon.
|

CREM began in 2003. The need is great indeed and the workers are few. Yet after Bible school one
seeks God's intervention and direction of what to do; how can he or she serve. I was led to the
Philippines. My name is Christopher Riley and my intension was never to work with children's group. I
preferred adults but the LORD, led me in this direction. The programs in CREM mainly target children
and secondly educating adults in both knowing and defending Scripture.
I am not aim to be a professional apologist. CREM simply targets the average believer and seeks to
provide them with information with doctrine with reasons to make clear its understanding and logical
existence. We try to make sense of what we believe and share this with others. We are not involved
with public debates in universities or public platforms. We simply teach a small class doctrine and
defense. We partner with various churches. See our website and FAQs.
CREM is going more and more digital with its training so we will be doing webinars, lots of audio and
video podcasts through our websites (http://www.cremcan.org).
TORIL
CREM responded to the
poor people in Toril first
who lived by selling items
they found in the garbage
dump. They drank the
nearby water and suffered
many diseased. They were
later ordered to relocate.
Pastor Lapaz planted a
small Baptist Church in the
village or Barrio
(Barangay) and most of
the people there were loyal
members. CREM helped
when they were flooded
and were out of food.
Other Countries
CREM has heard the calls
from other communities
and prays to be able to
answer.
PUNTA BILAIR
CREM distributed
books here in Punta
Bilair and Toril. They
poor children could
not attend school
because they had no
school uniforms and
no shoes and could
not pay school fees.
Many of them
wanted flip-flops
instead of shoes and
the teachers allowed
it. Some children
lived on their own as
parents out of jobs
went and we drug
trafficking just to
survive.
CICA--CREM International Christian Academy
CREM built its first school in Tandag City, Surigao, Philippines. This was the dream of Paator Ceasar
Egugain, now deceased. It was a burden in his heart to see the poor children in his neighbourhood
have an opportunity not only the know the Lord, but in having a basic education for which they were
entitled. Initially Pastor Ceasar and his ministerial staff organised activities in Christmas and Easter and
invited the children in the neighbourhood. They taught them the Bible, played games, fed them, sent
them home with food and had godly fun-times with them. CREM was honoured to participate in this
outreach in these communities with the local Assembly of God Pentecostal Church.
Free education is now given to a few children sponsored by CREM. The building was funded by
CREM and the staff as well as all education materials are purchased by CREM. This project is ongoing
and it is the goal and plan of the CICA Board to expand this program. Since the death of Pastor
Ceasar, Pastora Alma has assumed the pastoral responsibility and the local leadership and
directorship of CICA. CREM representative Rennel Lim sits on the Board but we do not direct the goals
of CICA. We respectfully intervene and leave leadership and direction to the local peoples of the area.
CREM hopes to expand its operations of CICA this coming year. We thank God for this opportunity.
